[Coaching Questions] Exams

I am currently at university and have just made a mess of my year end exams. I have always hated exams and never do well. Next year I have finals and don't want to have a repeat performance (sleepless nights, panic attacks, swirling stomach etc).

I have read a bit about coaching and NLP but am not sure which would be best. Has anyone else used coaching or NLP to help with exams? Also do people offer students rates?

I had heard that coaching is currently self regulated. If so how can you tell a quality coach from a cowboy?
