Managing Stress
In a 2004 survey by the CIPD of causes of Long term absence of non-manual workers, Stress was cited as the leading cause by 42% of respondents.
In private services, this number rose to 45% and in the Public Services, the percentage citing stress as the leading cause of Long term absence was 56%.
